Silva Vs Sowers

CLE: LHP Jeremy Sowers (1-2, 7.47 ERA)
The home run ball has been a problem for Sowers in three starts since being called up from Triple-A Buffalo on June 24. After allowing one home run in 73 1/3 innings at Buffalo, Sowers has given up four homers in 15 2/3 innings. He allowed seven runs and seven hits in 3 2/3 innings against the Orioles in his last start.
MIN: RHP Carlos Silva (4-9, 7.00 ERA)
Silva suffered a minor knee injury during the first inning of his last start against the Rangers. It definitely wasn't a start to remember for Silva, as he gave up five runs on six hits over just 1 2/3 innings. Silva still seems to be trying to find the mechanics that made him so successful over the past few seasons. In his career against the Indians, he has gone 2-3 with a 5.28 ERA.
